Now taking deposits for 2024 Icelandic lambs and sheep.
Meet our flock and preview some of the new lambs that will be available this summer. Contact Us to inquire.
Ragnar is our foundation ram and a member of our permanent flock at RQR. He is a registered Icelandic Ram with lines from prestigious breeders including Linger Fold Icelandics, Eagle Mountain Icelandics and Spring Hill Icelandics. He has had 100% breeding success with exposed ewes since joining our flock 2 years ago. Go Ragnar!!
"I once fathered lambs from every ewe in the flock. True story." --
Skadi, AKA "Eyeliner" is a proven registered Icelandic Ewe. She is an experienced breeder and a great mom! In the 2022/2023 season she delivered and raised two big rams, Wampa and Bandit. This year she produced a single ram, and he (and his horns) are HUGE. At-At will be staying with our flock.
Silverback is a registered badger faced horned ewe born here at RQR in 2023. Sire is Ragnar, and dam is Lillith who has moved on from the flock. We anticipate some gorgeous registrable future offspring from Silverback.
Slash joined our flock in 2023, purchased from Northwest Washington. He is a moorit mouflon pattern registered ram with excellent horn genetics and an impressive pedigree. As a yearling ram, he has already sired twin ewe lambs and a single horned ram lamb that looks like a replica of himself.
He is a lover, not a fighter, and despite being housed with Ragnar and sons, he manages to keep the peace
Devil Momma - This is what happens when I let Gary name the sheep. Anyway, her name may not be classy, but her conformation and gorgeous wool color in shades of black, grey and brown make up for that.
We added her to our flock in 2023, purchased from Northwest Washington with an impressive pedigree and a baby lamb in tow, Devil Baby (yeah, I know).
We are excited to see what she produces this year.
Maja is a white horned purebred Icelandic ewe. She is mom to Puddles shown here, and also to Thumbelina born last season. She has the absolute sweetest personality, and is a shepherd favorite. She survived the Wyoming winter of 2022-2023 in only a pallet and tarp shelter as part of our starter flock. She is resilient and sweet, and her lambs are too!
